IMPRINT

Dear Friends of Clarte,

I just finished watching a really great movie (based from the book "The Fault in Our Stars" by author John Green). If you haven't heard much about it yet, you may hear about it soon..It was one of those movies that you can't stop thinking about because it impacted you so deeply in some way. It plucked at the chord's of the heart and the explanation will never do it justice.

I'm not going to say much of what the movie is about because I really want to encourage you to watch it in theaters or buy the book. But, I will say that it made me think about the imprint we leave behind. Some people go through life and take it day by day, whatever happens happens. I'm certainly not that kind of person everyday. I am the person that thinks deeply, lives each step with a thought, and am strongly reaching for God to use me in his own way. Like the movie, I question the intention of an imprint. 

The movie implies: "are you the person who wants to leave an imprint on many (a hero, a leader of many, superman/woman) or are you someone that wants to leave a lone, singular, deep imprint on one?"

Think about it.
